| Enjoy an evening with Don Mc Glashen at The Gaiety. 8pm. Tickets are $25 and are for sale at the Akaroa Museum. Show starts at 8pm. This enigmatic and hugely talented performer is recognised as one of New Zealand’s foremost songwriters and artists with five entries in APRA New Zealand’s Top 100 Songs of All Time. ‘Anchor Me’ performed by the Mutton Birds, won the APRA Silver Scroll in 1993, and ‘Bathe in the River’, written for the film ‘No 2’, won the award in 2006. His tour will include these and other great songs from his repertoire – including items from his two most recent CDs, ‘Warm Hand’ and ‘Marvellous Year’. This is a 'Friends of the Gaiety' Event. |
