| Brief Description |
Watch the televised event as drivers race their cars on Summit road and Kinloch Rd in Little River on the 27/28 september. Organised by Motor Sport Event. Check out www.ratec.org.nz. The Summit Rd will be closed on the 27th but traffic will be allowed through with minimal delays. Expect the same on the 28th at Kinloch Rd. Pack a lunch and come for a look at the cars reaching speeds of 180kp/h across the winding roads.

| On the Saturday we race on Summit Rd in Akaroa. We start at the intersection heading to Le Bons Bay and finish at the Akaroa end at the intersection for the road that drops back down to Akaroa. The Sunday event starts at the bottom of Kinloch rd in Little River and races to the top of the hill. These are events that have run for over 10 years now and has minimal inconvenience to the public. Cars take 2 minutes to cover the course each so in the case of an emergency there would be a delay of 2 minutes max and non emergency, non residents trying to get through could expect 30 min delays. For the residents we try to get them through within 10 mins. We have TV coverage on Sky and Prime. |
