Akaroa Harvest Festival
Don't miss the Akaroa Harvest Festival on April 11 from 10am-4.30pm. The festival celebrates some of the best food and wine in the country - all produced on Banks Peninsula.
Music, great produce, children's activities, a jam competition and surprise entertainment is all planned. This is a free event.

The forth Akaroa Harvest Festival on Saturday April 11 promises to showcase even more of the Peninsula’s excellent produce.
Mussel fritters, crepes, berries, smoked salmon, olive oil, chorizo, lamb, cheese, and quince and local wines will all be available to taste and purchase on the day, and all from Banks Peninsula.
Live music, egg-and-spoon and sack races will add to fairground atmosphere of the day, while the “best jam” competition will be judged by Lou Bentley from the Akaroa Cooking School.
